First layer: Three options to decide "what it looks like"
(1) Height and body type: 155cm lightweight and easy to store, 163cm looks closer to a real person, weight is the dividing line (about 25–32kg vs 35–42kg). First, measure your storage space and carrying capacity, then choose your body type.
(2) Headwear and makeup: Each head model in the configurator is labeled with a style tag (sweet/mature/mixed-race). When choosing makeup covers, pay attention — hand-painted makeup +50–150 yuan, washable makeup +200 yuan, full hair transplantation plus 3–5 days for delivery. For beginners, it's recommended to use popular head models + standard hand-drawn makeup for the best value.
(3) Skin tone: White/Natural/Wheat/Antique Bronze. It only affects the appearance and does not affect price or delivery time; choose according to your preference. A reminder: darker skin has a slightly higher risk of fading. If you choose light-colored clothes, remember to read our previous anti-dye guide.
Level 2: Options to decide "how it moves"
(4) Frame type: Basic metal frame included in the default price; The EVO frame offers a wider range of postures and better joint damping, with an additional price of about 10–15%. If you often pose for photos, choose EVO; for pure static use, the basic model is sufficient.
(5) Stand feet: The soles have screw holes for standing display; the markup is not high, but the soles have holes—socks or open makeup can cover them. If you want to display it on the ground, choose it; otherwise, you can skip it.
Layer 3: Decide whether to pay extra for the optional features
. (6) Heating/Sound/Suction Clamp: We concluded in our "Optional Feature Test" — the practical value ranking is the clamp > heating > sound. Each item in the configurator is labeled with a "Recommended Purchase Index." Beginners can just follow the recommendations, don't add them all.
How to use the configurator most efficiently?
- Choose in top-to-bottom order, with the order being the order of decision importance;
- The "Estimated Total Price + Estimated Delivery Time" on the right side of each step updates in real time. To control your budget and schedule, just focus on these two numbers;
- After selection, save the configuration and send a second round to customer service—verbally repeating the option can prevent most "wrong makeup" after-sales service;
- Saving time: The combination of popular head models + standard makeup + basic frame is in-stock and arrives as fast as one week.
In short: the sequence of the configurator is the decision sequence—first decide the size, then the face, and finally the pay-add item; Understanding the cost of each item prevents customization from becoming an impulse.
