Step 1: Material preparation and mold opening confirmation (2–4 days)

After confirming the order, the factory first checks whether the selected head model, skin tone, and makeup are ready-made master molds. Niche head molds require temporary molding, with separate cycles; Popular headstyles are directly scheduled for production. We also provide platinum silicone/TPE raw materials and alloy framework parts.

Step 2: Frame assembly (1–2 days) Assemble

the alloy frame according to order height and optional configurations (EVO frame, standing leg). The joint damping feel and screw torque are all manually calibrated—the machine can only drill holes, while the feel is manually adjusted.

Stage 3: Pouring and vulcanization (3–7 days, the most time-consuming)

This is the core step. After injecting liquid silicone/TPE into the mold, it needs to be slowly heated for vulcanization: heating too quickly causes bubbling and internal stress concentration; too slow slows down the entire line. Vulcanizing silicone is especially particular; a batch often takes more than 3 days, and multiple pieces are poured simultaneously to dilute costs—this is one of the hidden reasons why custom versions are more expensive than in-stock versions.

Step 4: Demolding and trimming (2–3 days)

After mold removal, the work is done entirely by hand: trimming the mold closing lines, sanding seams, checking for surface bubbles and impurities. If you find minor defects, rework and fix them; if major ones, just scrap and reapply them—your doll might have already "died once."

Step 5: Makeup and Hair Transplant (2–5 days)

Hand-drawn makeup is done by the makeup artist according to your chosen makeup style; Total hair transplantation involves planting each hair one by one, and this alone can take more than 2 days. This is also why "adding custom makeup" and "full hair transplantation" are both expensive and slow.

Step 6: Quality inspection and touch-up (1–2 days) Under

light, check color difference, symmetry, and channel integrity. After setting the makeup, take a photo of the finished product and send it to the buyer for confirmation—the legitimate factory will wait for your approval before packing the product.

Stage 7: Packaging and Logistics (3–7 days) Large

items are handled via dedicated logistics, with additional time added for remote areas. That's why ordering timing is important: order before factory holidays or before major e-commerce sales and warehouse crashes, so you can get your money up to a week faster.

Why can't you "pay extra to cut in line"?

Most processes are batch production, and cutting in line means setting up separate lines, doubling costs. There are only two things that can truly speed things up: choose popular headmodels + in-stock makeup (skip mold opening and complex hair transplants), and opt for direct shipping through logistics.

In short: 15–30 days isn't a delay, but a combination of five manual steps: 'frame—pouring—trimming—makeup and styling—quality inspection.' Anyone who understands the process knows which options are secretly prolonging your wait when ordering.
