Step 1: Preparation and Disassembly
First, remove the wig, clothing, and removable parts (such as the channel liner, removable openings, etc.). Prepare warm water-based cleaners or specialized cleaning liquids, lint-free towels, absorbent sticks, talcum powder (for TPE), and water-based lubricants. Do not use alcohol, strong alkali cleaners, or makeup remover throughout the process, as they can damage the surface.
Step 2: For surface cleaning
,use warm water (not exceeding 40°C) combined with neutral soap or a specialized cleaner, then gently wipe in circular motions with a soft sponge. Move gently to avoid scratching your nails; Gently press the facial makeup area with clean water, don't rub back and forth.
Step 3: Channel Cleaning (Key Point) Use
a dedicated cleaner or warm water to rinse the inner chamber; it can be cleaned separately and separately. Do not forcefully pull the inner wall; once torn, it is basically impossible to repair. Be sure to rinse off the cleanser thoroughly, as residue can irritate the skin.
Step 4: Thoroughly dry (most critically)
channels are areas prone to mold: first insert a water absorber into the suction to dry, then ventilate and air dry; Press the surface dry with a lint-free towel. Avoid direct sunlight and hot air, as high temperatures can deform the material and accelerate aging. Only when it feels completely dry to the touch is it considered complete.
Step 5:
Careand care - TPE material: Apply a thin layer of talcum powder or cornstarch every 2–4 weeks to absorb oil and prevent sticking;
- Silicone material: generally no powder is needed, and a small amount of specialized silicone oil can be used for maintenance;
- Avoid wearing dark-colored clothing for extended periods, as dark colors are easily stained and difficult to remove.
Step 6: Regularly check joint damping and screw tightness for theskeleton and joints
, avoiding prolonged extreme postures; When changing positions, hold the joint at the point of force; don't force it on a single point. Using water-based lubricants, as oil-based fluids corrode silicone and TPE.
Step 7: Store
ina cool, ventilated, and dry place away from light; Hang upright or lay flat to avoid long-term pressure on the same area that could cause deformation; Comes with a storage bag/sleeping bag for dust protection, so it doesn't weigh heavy on top.
Three iron rules
: (1) Do not use alcohol or oil-based products; (2) Avoid high temperatures and direct sunlight; (3) The channels must be thoroughly dried.
Summary
in one sentence: Cleaning depends on the steps, longevity depends on dryness, shape depends on storage. Each time I use it, I spend ten minutes and return it a year later
